Our commitment
Invest Guam with Chris and Christopher Su, a licensed real estate agent affiliated with Guam Realty International, are pledged to the letter and spirit of United States policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
The law we follow
We comply with the federal Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 3601 and following), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and all applicable laws of Guam. It is illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental, financing or advertising of housing, or in the provision of brokerage services, because of:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sex
- Disability (handicap)
- Familial status — including households with children under 18 and people who are pregnant
- National origin
As a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Chris also follows Article 10 of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, which additionally prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
What this means in practice
- Every person who contacts us receives the same level of service, information and access to properties.
- We do not steer anyone toward or away from any village, neighborhood or building.
- Property descriptions on this site describe the property, not the kind of person who should live there.
- The questions our website chat asks are about the property you want — type, budget, location and timeline — never about who you are.
- We will make reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities. If you need information from this website in another format, contact Chris and he will provide it.
If you believe you have experienced discrimination
Please tell us directly so we can address it: investguamwithchris@gmail.com or +1 (671) 988-9238.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, at hud.gov/fairhousing or by calling 1-800-669-9777. You do not need to contact us first.
